Gerard Reichert has been named corporate director of environmental services by Sterling Glen Senior Living, the owner and operator of 11 senior living residences in the metropolitan area, Connecticut and Philadelphia. The Hewlett resident will oversee all building maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical systems at the properties. He most recently was an area director with Temco Service Industries Inc. of Manhattan, where he was responsible for directing, administering, operating and evaluating building service and plant management programs for 15 New York City public school buildings. Before that, he was assistant vice president of facilities at the Long Island Savings Bank in Melville where he oversaw the general maintenance of 52 bank branches throughout Long Island.
